Overnight in Bozukkale. 5.Day : Another early morning start where the crew will deliver your gulet to the headland of Kadırga, following an ancient sea trade route off the Loryma Peninsula. Trade ships plied these waters for thousands of years and the coast is dotted with the ruins of long forgotten trading centres. After breakfast, sit back and watch the passing scenery as your gulet glides across another scenic gulf and into the pretty bay of Ekincik. Swim, snorkel or take a walk ashore in this idyllic bay, fringed by forests of pine. Overnight in Ekincik Bay. 6.Day : Following a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a swim, board a small riverboat for a tour to ancient Caunos and the small town of Dalyan. The trip will take you south-east along a craggy, indented coastline and in through the mouth of the Dalyan river, where you should keep an eye out for the rare Loggerhead Turtle. Once past the sandy spit known as Iztuzu Beach (a nesting ground for the turtles), it is an exciting ride through the reed-lined channels of the delta to the ruins of ancient Caunos, set out around a hill topped with an acropolis. The climb to the acropolis is an exhilarating ascent and rewards the climber with an amazing view of the surrounding area. While exploring the ruins of Caunos, you will come across a theatre, an early Byzantine church, Roman baths and closer to the ancient harbour, the remains of an Agora and temples. Returning to the riverboat, you will then head further up the river to the town of Dalyan, passing beneath some superb Lycian rock tombs, carved into the cliff face. These tombs date back to 400 - 600 BC and are the finest example of their type to be found anywhere. Following a stroll around the town of Dalyan, it's back to the riverboat for the return trip to the gulet and on to Ağ Limanı for the night. Here you can take a walk ashore and view the gulf of Fethiye from the hills above. 7.Day A day for exploring the many pristine bays and anchorages in the Gulf of Fethiye. Perhaps go ashore on Tersane island and view the Byzantine ruins of a shipyard, or examine up close the party-submerged ruins in Cleopatra's Bay, rumored to be the remnants of the bathhouse in which Cleopatra is said to have bathed. Enjoy the best of the gulf before heading into Göcek for a final night on board. Göcek is a small Mediterranean port town, charming in every way with a delightful array of shops, restaurants and cafes. Overnight on the town quay of Göcek. 8.Day : Disembarkation at 10:00 after breakfast.

KAŞ (LYCIA CITY) Kaş is a picturesque town on the south coast of Turkey with a population of around 8000, situated between Antalya and Dalaman (appr. 180 km either way). Kaş is surrounded by the most beautiful coastline: the peninsula of Kaş, Limanağzı, the Greek island of Meis and many small islands in between!
Some 2000 years ago this region was part of the Lycian Empire, which explains why the area is called the "Lycian Coast" and littered with tombs and other ancient ruins. Just a 10-minute walk from the centre of Kaş you'll find an old amphitheatre by the sea. Kaş is a picturesque town on the south coast of Turkey with a population of around 8000, situated between Antalya and Dalaman. The Kings Tomb in the centre of Kaş is over 2000 years old. But you will find more examples of Lycian art and culture in many other places nearby!
Something that will immediately catch your eye is the historic houses with their wooden balconies. The town centre is packed with small alleys and narrow streets - too narrow for cars to pass. And this is exactly what's different about Kaş. At night the whole place is like one big living room crammed with bars, restaurants and little cafes. This is Büyükçakıl (Big Pebble), a wonderful pebble beach just outside Kaş ! Another 2000 years old Lycian tomb at the sea side.
Friday is this means market day in Kaş. You should not miss a visit of the big fruit and vegetable market. Spices are very important for the Turkish kitchen Kaş is 150 km to Dalaman and 180 km to Antalya airport.

Turkey is epic. It's a fascination destination, rich in culture and charming in its friendly people and warm hospitality. Turkey is a visitor's delight, countless archaeological sites, endless beaches, historic biblical sites, natural wonders and incredibly fine weather. Take an abundance of sunshine and crystal clear water in all colors between Turquoise and emerald, add some mild breeze, pine-shaded shores, lonely bays, steep coasts, exotic islands and add a couple of olive, fig and lemon groves. Then mix them with bright blue sky, picturesque sunsets and enchanting starry nights.
This is Turkey : One of the top 10 travel destinations in the world, welcoming more than 20 million visitors every year. It's modern enough to be comfortable yet traditional enough to be interesting. Turkey's history goes back an estimated 25,000 years. Some of the earliest-known human communities are here. Countless civilizations have all left their works of art and culture in what is now the Turkish homeland.
Food & Drink Turkish food is now world-famous, and rightly so. The abundance of its fields, farms, orchards, flocks and fishing boats is exceptional, and Turkish chefs take full advantage of this bounty. For real local flavor, sit at a long table in a tavern, order a glass of beer, wine or pungent rakı, and join in the songs and stories. Turks revel in good food, good friends, good times, and good nightlife.
Then there's the incredible coastline and the alluring Mediterranean. This is the land of the Blue Voyage. It is here you enjoy the deep azure blue seas, hidden coves, sleepy fishing villages, majestic hillsides, and boisterous metropolitan harbors. This is the home of Aegean Sails.

When To Sail The best time to explore Turkey's fabulous shoreline is May through October. For swimming, the sea water temperatures are at their best from June through September. Days are dry and generally warm-to-hot with the occasional blustery day, and only a slight chance of rain. Our season ends in October when we pack our sails and prepare the boats for next year.
One Final Point We want your holiday to be a most memorable one. Before you arrive, your Captain and crew will have details of everyone in your party - arrival times, passport information, dietary requirements, and any special arrangements you have requested. When your party boards, you'll be greeted with bottles of ice-cold champagne, and a hearty toast from your Captain and crew. And it only gets better from there. So welcome aboard. Day 2 : Dalyan, Caunos and Ekincik We leave Marmaris after breakfast, marveling at the magnificent natural surroundings as we sail out the long, wide bay for our day's journey. We have the option of visiting Dalyan, a small resort on the Dalyan River. Here we pass the rock tombs of Caunos. Dinner and overnight in Ekincik.
Day 3 : Manastır, Fethiye We motor to Manastır for breakfast on our way to Fethiye. Once a minor market village, this is now a popular visitor center filled with a variety of carpet, leatherware and gift shops. Once called "Telmessus", Fethiye dates back to the 6th Century, B.C. We end the day in the 12 Islands of the Gulf of Fethiye, one of the most secluded, beautiful areas on the coast.
Day 4 : Ölüdeniz, Gemiler Island Today we cruise to Ölüdeniz, the "dead sea." This perfectly calm lagoon with its crystal waters boasts one of the best sandy beaches in Turkey. From the lagoon, there is a small opening to the sea, but yachts are no permitted inside. We reach Gemiler Island for lunch, to swim, dive or relax. And settle down for a fine dinner and overnight.
Day 5 : Göcek We relax at Gemiler for the morning, then cruise to Göcek, a rapidly developing center for yachting on the northwest end of the Gulf of Fethiye. Plenty of restaurants, cafes and shopping. We overnight in a pine-sheltered bay.
Day 6 : A Day of Small Islands and Bays We go island hopping today, stopping to explore or enjoy some water sports or simply relax in the sun with a good book. After a sumptuous candlelight dinner, we find a quiet anchorage for the night.
Day 7 : Captain's Choice, Paradise Island A day to cruise, sun, swim and play. And it's all capped off with a final night's dinner at a little hidden cove named Paradise. We overnight in this idyllic spot surrounded by lush pine forest resembling a veritable Garden of Eden.
Day 8 : Marmaris We breakfast on board, pack up, and say our fond farewells to the crew. Then it's off to the airport for trips home or to other destinations.
ANTIQUITIES OF THE MEDITERRANEAN CRUISE On this 7 day cruise you will take in all the beauty and relaxation of sailing the Aegean while visiting several ancient archeological treasures.
Day 1 : Göcek We rendezvous in this bustling village, a rapidly developing center for yachting on the northwest end of the Gulf of Fethiye. After champagne and settling in, there's time to explore the area before a tasty welcome aboard dinner.
Day 2 : Exploring The Gulf of Fethiye It's time to get underway. The beauty and relaxation you experience cruising, sunning and swimming among the coves of the Gulf of Fethiye is a magical memory. We arrive in Fethiye, a thriving visitor center with great shops. An important stop on the Blue Voyage. We leave the harbor for a quiet, secluded spot for the night.
Day 3 : Xanthos Here we visit the ruins of the fabled city of Xanthos. Presently under archeological excavation, this once important city of Lycia sits high above the Xanthus River. We see the ancient Lycian town tombs, a large Roman amphitheatre, ruins of two Byzantine basilicas and a monastery.
Day 4 : Kalkan Our cruise today takes us to this small Turkish village, wedged between the rocks and the sea. It is a popular stopping point along the Blue Voyage coast. In addition to some interesting local shops, we get to enjoy the many small beaches.
Day 5 : Kekova Island We pull up anchor early and stop for breakfast in one of the numerous bays en route to Kekova Island. We find many interesting antiquities in this area, including numerous submerged houses on the northern side of the island. A seafood supper of fish and lobster will provide a fitting end to this day.
Day 6 : Kaş We sail after breakfast and explore this delightful town facing the tiny island of Kastellorizon (Meis in Turkish). This Greek island is the one farthest from mainland Greece. Like most Lycian coast towns, Kaş is wedged between the mountains and the sea. Plenty of time to enjoy the extensive bazaar area here!
Day 7 : Ölüdeniz Our cruise continues to Ölüdeniz where we can swim in the quiet lagoon and enjoy the wonderful sandy beach. Ringed by mountains, pine trees and its long beach, this makes a delightful spot for lunch. Later, we begin our cruise back to Fethiye, where we anchor for our final overnight.
Day 8 : Fethiye We enjoy our festive, farewell breakfast on board, then pack up as we cruise back into Fethiye harbor in time to disembark and return home.
