Swim in crystal clear waters and snorkel over a sunken breakwater before venturing ashore to make your way through this impressive site. Knidos was an important port on the coastal trading route and enjoyed great prosperity during the 4th Century BC. The city had two harbours, two theatres and was home to Praxiteles's nude statue of Aphrodite - and the base of Aphrodite's temple can be seen today. Your captain will seek out the sheltered harbor of Kalaboshi for tonight's stop.
3.Day : Datça is a popular stopover for yachtsmen, where white-washed buildings hung with bougainvillea decorate the town. Around the marina you will find bars, cafes and a wide selection of shops. The local eaters offer both fresh fish and classical Turkish cuisine. As you cruise out of Datça, you will find unspoiled bays and golden sandy beaches.
4.Day : Sail across the Hisarönü Gulf, stopping for lunch and water sports in a pretty bay near Bozburun or Söğüt. Bozburun is surrounded by low, rocky hills and has a definite charm. The afternoon's sail will take you around the tip of the Loryma Peninsula and into Bozukkale. In Hellenistic times, Bozukkale was known Loryma and the city was a deme of the Rhodian Peraea. Your captain will anchor beneath the well-preserved walls of the ancient citadel and from here, it will be possible to swim ashore or tender ashore to visit the ruins. The citadel provides an excellent vantage point from which to view the coastline and watch a fabulous Mediterranean sunset. Overnight in Bozukkale.
5.Day : Another early morning start where the crew will deliver your gulet to the headland of Kadırga, following an ancient sea trade route off the Loryma Peninsula. Trade ships plied these waters for thousands of years and the coast is dotted with the ruins of long forgotten trading centres. After breakfast, sit back and watch the passing scenery as your gulet glides across another scenic gulf and into the pretty bay of Ekincik. Swim, snorkel or take a walk ashore in this idyllic bay, fringed by forests of pine. Overnight in Ekincik Bay.
6.Day : Following a leisurely breakfast and perhaps a swim, board a small riverboat for a tour to ancient Caunos and the small town of Dalyan. The trip will take you south-east along a craggy, indented coastline and in through the mouth of the Dalyan river, where you should keep an eye out for the rare Loggerhead Turtle. Once past the sandy spit known as Iztuzu Beach (a nesting ground for the turtles), it is an exciting ride through the reed-lined channels of the delta to the ruins of ancient Caunos, set out around a hill topped with an acropolis. The climb to the acropolis is an exhilarating ascent and rewards the climber with an amazing view of the surrounding area. While exploring the ruins of Caunos, you will come across a theatre, an early Byzantine church, Roman baths and closer to the ancient harbour, the remains of an Agora and temples. Returning to the riverboat, you will then head further up the river to the town of Dalyan, passing beneath some superb Lycian rock tombs, carved into the cliff face. These tombs date back to 400 - 600 BC and are the finest example of their type to be found anywhere. Following a stroll around the town of Dalyan, it's back to the riverboat for the return trip to the gulet and on to Ağ Limanı for the night. Here you can take a walk ashore and view the gulf of Fethiye from the hills above.
7.Day A day for exploring the many pristine bays and anchorages in the Gulf of Fethiye. Perhaps go ashore on Tersane island and view the Byzantine ruins of a shipyard, or examine up close the party-submerged ruins in Cleopatra's Bay, rumored to be the remnants of the bathhouse in which Cleopatra is said to have bathed. Enjoy the best of the gulf before heading into Göcek for a final night on board. Göcek is a small Mediterranean port town, charming in every way with a delightful array of shops, restaurants and cafes. Overnight on the town quay of Göcek.
8.Day : Disembarkation at 10:00 after breakfast.

YACHT SAILING HOLIDAYS

A blue cruise Gulettes is the perfect platform for exploring the Mediterranean Costs. The sailing paradise of Turkey is also home to the Mavi Yolculuk, or Blue Voyage, an idyllic cruise which travels to the private beach of Cleopatra, the eternal fires of Mount Olimpos and the remains of thousands of ancient civilisations.

We hope this site will become a fun and informative guide to the Blue Cruise Charters along the Southwest Turkish coastline in Mediterranean. Enjoy Mediterranean beauty, history and culture. A blue cruise Gulettes is the perfect platform for exploring the Mediterranean Costs. Wherever you may come from, and however old you may be, after a week or two afloat in this scenic wonderland, you will become of one heart with the beauty and serenity of nature. Both body and mind will revel in this healthy, happy environment.

How do we spend the time? During the day, we cruise for a few hours and sail if the wind allows. Closer to lunch or dinner, we approach the land and drop anchor in a solitary bay, alongside a small village or off an island. At every stop, and there will be at least two per day, there is the opportunity to swim, fish, snorkel, windsurf, sunbath, take a trip ashore or just read under the shade of the sun awning. The accent is on relaxation and recreation. Your friendly, attentive crew will consist of a captain, a cook and either one or two seamen. Their job is to ensure that you are comfortable, well fed and entertained.

Blue Dream is a sailing/motoring cruise on any stretch of the cleanest waters in the world where deep blue mingles with the green of the pineforests. The opportunity to combine sun, sea, history and the hikes on land is best experienced on a Blue Cruise. Comfortable accommodation and first rate meals are standard features on these gleaming wooden craft, designed along the traditional lines of Aegean sailing boats.
